Workshop Guidelines
Undergraduate students wishing to propose a workshop must obtain a faculty/staff sponsor who will present the workshop proposal to the entire faculty, and, if the workshop is approved, will act as mentor to the student director (they must commit for the entire production period).
There are no specific deadline dates, however, workshops for the FALL should be proposed before the end of the previous spring semester, and the SPRING workshops should be submitted prior to leaving for the winter break in December.
Students wishing to make a submission should write a proposal that includes the following information: a short synopsis of the play; the number of roles, male & female; any specific “concept” you might have (you may not have this in any sort of detail at the time of submission – that’s okay); any set, costume, lighting and sound requirements. Do your homework to find out if rights are available – but DO NOT contact the leasing agent.

Submit the Proposal to Jane Stein or David Johnson.
