Welcome to the Department of Theatre & Cinema at Virginia Tech!
The Department of Theatre & Cinema at Virginia Tech is a highly successful and innovative theatre program rooted in the liberal arts tradition with a mission to educate and train students in and about theatre and cinema.
A Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Fine Arts degree are offered. In both programs, students have the benefits of a small, close-knit department within the environment of a comprehensive university.
A full schedule of stage productions and screenings is integral to the work of the department and provides cultural opportunities for the entire community.
